At the invitation of Prof. François Goxe as part of his Master's courses in Strategic Marketing and Heaquarters-Subsidiary relationships, Dr. Naji Gehchan from pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly shared his views and experience of these subjects with the students on Wednesday October 23 and Thursday October 24, live from Boston, USA.
Naji Gehchan is a broadly experienced biopharma physician executive with expertise in drug development, commercialization, and general management.
Naji thrives building and leading teams with care and discipline to deliver for the patients served. He is Head of Development Oncology at Eli Lilly, leading the development of an oncology drug from early to late phase and global commercialization.
Previously, he led teams through several launches in different senior leadership roles including Chief Marketing Office and Business Unit Head across Australia, Canada, EU & the USA, consistently delivering on P&Ls and bringing life-changing medicines to patients.
During his years at medical school, Naji volunteered in the Lebanese Red Cross as a rescuer first responder, and team leader in moments of war and unrest in the country.
Those experiences shaped his career choices, inspiring him to dedicate his life to serving patients and leading teams toward the noble purpose of making life better.
Additionally, Naji cofounded an e-health startup elected one of the hottest startups in MENA and recently launched a podcast, spreadloveio.com, partially funded by MIT Sandbox, focusing on purpose-driven, human-centered healthcare leadership.
